Bestselling author Kale McKinnon is a modern Scrooge – eccentric, misanthropic and reclusive, made bitter by the coldness of his wealthy family.
"Expertly written with a great story line and wonderful ending, I didn't want it to end."
"A twist and turn here and there keeps you on the edge of your seat and ready to read ‘just one more page’ to see where it will take you. Unwrapping Scrooge flows easily from beginning to end. There were no points in the story that lagged; it was fast-paced and enjoyable. I will certainly look for more stories by this author. Rated 4 Delightful Divas by Dharma!"
"The plot in this one was a really sweet story... A very nice story."
"Overall, Unwrapping Scrooge by Anne Holly is a good book. Even though it is June Unwrapping Scrooge was able to put me in the Christmas spirit. Unwrapping Scrooge is not only able to bring Christmas alive for the reader but can make you believe in love when you least expect it. I would recommend Unwrapping Scrooge to anyone who likes reading about romance during the Christmas season."
This was the perfect quick holiday read. Just enough romance and spice to leave you wanting more but also leave you satisfied at how it ended.
"What I liked most about Unwrapping Scrooge is how Kale’s view of Molly changed. He first sees her as some Plain Jain but later begins to question how he could ever see her as anything but sexy. This made Ms. Holly’s work seem more in depth and truthful as it gave Kale and Molly dimension and heart. I also like how opposite these two characters are as it gives an extra zing to this already good book. 3 Cups."
*I really enjoyed this book. For a short story, the characters are very well developed; the story line is credible, easy to follow and sweet... I give it 4 stars.
"Ms. Holly has done a great job in telling Natasha's story and how she transcends her despair and grabs at love when she gets the chance. Raphael is a HOT little piece of tail that struts his stuff for Natasha, making him hard for her to resist. The sex in this story was sizzling HOT and fairly well written... I enjoyed this short story by Ms. Holly and will definitely look for more books from this author. I recommend Good for the Goose for anyone looking for a quick HOT read. 4 stars; "Simmering" heat rating."
